The Vision Takes Shape
For Cowandilla Learning Centre, their existing facilities weren't meeting the growing needs of their specialised education program. The reception area was difficult for visitors to locate, staff workspace was limited, and they needed purpose-built areas to support their unique learning environment.
"We just didn't have room for all of us," explains Naomi Schlein, Administration Officer at Cowandilla. "We needed a space that would work better for both staff and students, while being more accessible for visitors."

"They were really flexible," says Naomi. "When we started work and realised we wanted to change things, they accommodated us completely. They got back to us quickly with new quotes and kept the process moving within days."

A complete redesign created an impressive new reception area that's more accessible and professional. "We get such a big response from everyone who visits now," Naomi shares. "They all say it's magnificent. The new ramp makes it very clear where to go - visitors love knowing exactly where to enter."
Professional Administration Space
The new office layout provides a dedicated professional environment for staff. "We're separate now from the classrooms, which means fewer disruptions. It's very clearly an office area, meeting area, and leadership space. We couldn't have imagined it would work this well."
Specialised Learning Areas
Purpose-built spaces support the centre's unique educational requirements, including dedicated areas where students can reset when needed. Strategic design ensures safe movement throughout the facility.
